Wei Formation Tips - Provided by Jack (AS3-10161)

I will introduce to you my experience with Wei in this strategy. The secret of Wei is to kills heroes quickly rather than to fight against more heroes.

Firstly, I will analyze the Heroes and Skills

1 Wei’s first core, except for Legendary Hero: Xiahou Dun

Personally I think it is the strongest Hero from the Epic Heroes (the second is Zhang Fei from Shu because Zhang Fei’s blast injury is way too high). With the 7- star skill: Deal 347% Physical DMG to a column of enemies with 35% chance to stun the targets for 1 round. Deal an additional 180% damage if the target has more than 50% HP.

Let's take a look at Xiahou Dun's star-rising skill, all of which will add damage and crit. So whether it is Story or the Warrior Trials, it is the perfect core of the front row (5-star Xiahou Dun has higher DMG than 2-star Legendary Hero Dian Wei).

2 Wei’s second core except Legendary Hero: Xu Chu

One of the highest single burst in Epic Heroes. Don’t doubt. Just use him.

3. Liao Zhang

Liao Zhang is a great controller. You can place him at position 1. He can reduce the enemy’s rage, so that they won’t be able to cast their spells. But he isn’t good at causing DMG. So when you have Dian Wei, you can replace Liao Zhang with him.

4. Zhang He

He is good at AOE DMG. With the Grizzly Charm, he can make great DMG in the first game. But he is easy to die, so you need to put him at the back row.

5. Xiahou Yuan 

An archer who can attack back row heroes and reduce their rage.
